One of the most disturbing aspects of this pattern of stalking and harassment is the unwavering belief in the narratives used to justify it. These stories are riddled with outright lies and yet they've become the foundation for harmful activities.

It's troubling to see this behavior among parents, adults who themselves have daughters.

It's troubling to see this behavior in "educated" individuals, which proves that even a college degree, a master's, or a doctorate is not proof of good sense and sound judgment.

And it's troubling to see this behavior from individuals who profess strong religious beliefs. They attend places of worship, wear symbols of their faith, and yet seem to have abandoned the very moral compass their faith is meant to provide.

I challenge these individuals to seek guidance from their faith and to truly listen.

Are you brave enough to hear the truth and accept it? Are you brave enough to admit your wrongdoing?

Can you honestly say your behavior aligns with the principles you claim to uphold?
